Job Summary:

The Corporate Communications Specialist develops and executes communications strategies that strengthen Care New England's reputation, build employee engagement, and advance system-wide priorities. This role supports both internal and external communications across multiple channels, ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling messaging that aligns with CNE's mission, vision, and values.

Working closely with the Marketing and Communications team and key leaders across the organization, this individual helps tell the CNE story, elevate brand perception, and support strategic initiatives through effective communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Write and edit content for internal and external communications, including newsletters, leadership messages, and organizational updates.

Serve as the primary department contact for HR communications, developing strategies that communicate CNE's employer value proposition in partnership with the Total Rewards and Organizational Development teams.

Lead communications related to Community and Social Impact initiatives, ensuring internal and external audiences are informed and engaged.

Act as communications liaison for assigned Operating Units or corporate departments, ensuring consistent and timely messaging.

Collaborate with Strategic Growth and Communications colleagues to manage projects, review creative assets, and track deliverables.

Support planning, promotion, and execution of internal and external events — including All-Employee and All-Leader Town Halls — in collaboration with the Content Development Specialist.

Serve as a backup contact for the Director of Strategic Communications and the External Communications Manager as needed.

Perform other communications and marketing duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional communications experience, preferably in healthcare or a regulated industry.

Must be able to provide writing samples upon request.
