POSITION: Controls Engineer III
JOB PROFILE:
REPORTS TO: Engineering Leader
DEPARTMENT : EngineeringIntec Automation Inc. is an established (25+ years of business), small automation company based in Rochester, NH that specializes in the design and build of custom automation equipment. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an energetic individual to serve as a Senior Controls Engineer . The individual we are seeking must enjoy problem solving, and rarely building the same machine twice. The company needs a hands-on, assertive individual that is self-motivated, pursuant of personnel development and growth, who is willing to share knowledge and enhance the capabilities of co-workers and the company alike.
Core Responsibilities
Includes all Level II responsibilities plus:
- Leads large-scale automation projects
- Develops control system architectures
- Creates programming standards and best practices
- Provides technical leadership across multiple projects
- Conducts technical risk assessments
- Leads customer technical discussions
- Manages complex integration projects
- Develops and implements new technologies
- Provides advanced technical solutions
- Mentors junior and senior engineers
- Contributes to estimation and proposal development
· Expert-level PLC and robot programming
· Advanced system architecture design
· Multiple platform expertise

Education & Experience
- BSEE/BSEET with 8-12 years' experience, or
- ASEE/ASEET with 13-17 years' experience
- Extensive project leadership experience
- Advanced certifications preferred
