We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer specializing in API Automation using Rest Assured and BDD/Cucumber frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining automated API test suites, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This role is open to candidates authorized to work in the U.S., with options to work onsite or hybrid in Dallas, Bellevue, or Atlanta.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated API test scripts using Rest Assured and BDD/Cucumber frameworks.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case design.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar tools).
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and track defects effectively.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and QA processes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in QA automation testing with a strong focus on API automation.
  • Proficient in Rest Assured, BDD, and Cucumber frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and software development life cycles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $60.00 per hour
