Duties

  • Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Oversee all aspects of food handling, kitchen management, and food production to maintain high-quality standards aligned with safety regulations.
  • Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and manage costs effectively.
  • Supervise staff training and development programs to enhance team skills in food service management, customer service, and safety protocols.
  • Manage POS systems for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
  • Coordinate shift management to ensure proper staffing levels during peak hours
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation practices, and workplace safety standards.
  • Foster a welcoming environment that promotes outstanding customer service and encourages guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions for new team members; lead staff onboarding and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams on menu development, catering services, banquet events, or bar operations as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of shift reports, incident reports, inventory logs, and financial transactions for accountability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining establishment with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong background in food industry operations including food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, staff training & development, interviewing and performance evaluations.
  • Experience overseeing inventory control, budgeting processes, and cost management strategies within a hospitality setting.
  • Familiarity with fine dining or hotel restaurant environments is a plus; experience in catering or banquet services is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety protocols essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
