  • Assist with the installation of low voltage cabling, electrical components, and mechanical fixtures necessary for network infrastructure
  • Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, test results, and system configurations for quality assurance and future reference
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in fiber splicing, network installation, or telecommunication field service roles
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts, Ethernet protocols, telephony systems, and low voltage wiring
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as cable strippers, crimpers, and ohmmeters for electrical testing and cabling tasks
  • Mechanical knowledge related to cable management, conduit installation, and equipment mounting
  • Familiarity with Cisco routers, switches, and basic network configuration procedures
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and mechanical drawings accurately
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail when testing signals or troubleshooting network issues
  • Prior service technician experience in telecommunication or electrical fields is highly desirable
