Tire Technician Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive service, particularly in tire service and vehicle maintenance. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in all tire-related services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tire installations, rotations, alignments, and repairs with precision and care.
  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes and inspections.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
  • Diagnose automotive issues related to tires and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding tire services and vehicle maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle heavy lifting as required for tire installation and removal.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair setting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated mechanic experience with a focus on automotive diagnostics and service technician duties.
  • Familiarity with various types of tires, alignment procedures, and vehicle maintenance practices.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Sales experience is a plus, particularly in promoting tire products and services.
