Job Summary
The Executive Director for Education and Administration (EDEA) provides visionary leadership and strategic direction for all educational programs and operations at Zion Baptist Academy. As the Academy's chief administrator, the EDEA oversees curriculum and instruction, daily administration, staff leadership, budget management, and operational excellence.
The EDEA ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations governing early learning programs while promoting the mission and vision of ZBA. Serving as the Academy's chief advocate and ambassador, the EDEA cultivates community partnerships, drives enrollment growth, and leads with faith, integrity, and excellence.
The EDEA is an ex officio member of the ZBA Board of Directors and collaborates closely with Zion Baptist Church, families, and community partners to ensure the Academy's continued success and growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure high-quality early childhood education and faith-based learning experiences.
- Represents ZBA with professionalism and passion, serving as the chief advocate for the Academy
- Oversee curriculum, instruction, and assessment to promote school-wide academic excellence.
- Manage staff, budgets, and day-to-day operations of the Academy.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing and accreditation standards (Bright from the Start, Georgia Pre-K, DECAL, etc.).
- Foster a safe, nurturing environment for students and staff.
- Build and maintain strong family, church, and community partnerships.
- Lead fundraising, marketing, and enrollment initiatives to promote sustainability and growth.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of leadership and administrative experience in early childhood education or the nonprofit sector.

- Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse, collaborative teams

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
