We are seeking a new team player to fill our Product Compliance Manager position available at our La Vergne TN, location Benefit Package Offered:Employee offered standard company benefit package to include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, accidental death benefits, and eligibility to participate in a safe harbor 401(k) plan.
Position Summary
This role is required to manage the processes necessary to ensure that data and information to the consumer is generated in accordance with business needs of all industry regulations.
Position Description
Design, implement, maintain, and manage a fully operative Consumer Care Center:
- Manage staff who handle consumer product inquiries and warranty replacements.
- Resolve all consumer related insurance claims.
- Serve as company liaison for all product liability related lawsuits.
- Resolve all escalated consumer issues.
- Identify and report on potential liability regarding manufacturing or design which would require corrective action.
- Create reportable and measurable metrics.
- Design and maintain a virtual product library, by retailer, for reference purposes.
- Generate and maintain SOP's as related to consumer relations.
- Create and implement a department handbook, instructional handouts, document processes, and scripting.
- Will work internally cross functionally to secure all pertinent details are correct and accurate before we go to market.
Retail and Corporate Compliance:
- Review all packaging, inserts, warranties, care tags, etc. to ensure compliance with retail customer requirements as well as compliance with the consumer's legal rights.
- Remain current with Federal and State regulations (ex. – law tag requirements, trademarks, etc.)
- Keep current on all registration for industry associations.
- Company liaison on all Retail Compliance Audits.
- Responsible for all new retailer onboarding processes.
- Resolve all retail issues as related to trademark infringements, unauthorized sale of products, etc.
- Create formal processes and procedures.
- Design and develop a retail customer library to consist of routing guidelines, packaging guidelines, shipping guidelines, etc.
Position Requirements
- Excellent computer skills, ERP, specifically SAP is preferred.
- 5+ years prior experience with managing a call center.
- 3+ years of industry knowledge preferred.
- Risk focused, good written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Candidate should have a strong desire to lead and follow through with issues
- Must be a team player, work well with others

Work Environment: Works in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and frequent computer usage. Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Position Schedule: Office hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm
