Practice

compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
to join our
established and growing practice
. You will work alongside a dedicated physician in a dynamic, patient-centered environment that integrates
primary care, advanced medical aesthetics
, and
specialized services such as immigration physicals
. The ideal provider would have experience in preventative and chronic disease management.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time or Part-Time opportunity in an outpatient setting
  • Collaborate closely with the physician and support staff
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on preventative health and chronic disease management, treating children and adult populations
  • Educate and guide patients through advanced non-invasive procedures
  • Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness strategies
  • EMR system: AthenaOne

Ideal Candidate

  • Licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of North Carolina
  • 1-2+ years of clinical experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or urgent care (preferred)
  • Interest or prior experience in aesthetic medicine, wellness services, or non-invasive procedures is a plus
  • Strong background in preventative care and chronic disease management
  • Demonstrates initiative and a growth mindset to help expand the practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient education and long-term care
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, colleagues, support staff, and external partners-always demonstrating courtesy, professionalism, and timeliness. The ideal candidate will foster a collaborative environment, support patient-centered care, and ensure clear, respectful interactions across all levels.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply, though not required

Performance Requirements
Within the small family medical practice, the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will perform comprehensive patient assessments, manage chronic and acute conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans. The provider will prescribe medications and perform routine procedures within their scope of practice, demonstrating sound clinical judgment in a broad range of family medicine cases. Collaboration with colleagues and support staff is essential to ensure smooth practice operations and coordinated care. The PA/NP will maintain thorough, accurate documentation in the electronic health record, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and uphold high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical practice. Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to licensure and practice guidelines is required to meet the diverse needs of patients in a close-knit practice environment.
