What you'll do

  • Safely operate a box truck to deliver products to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Load and unload goods efficiently, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide outstanding service and address any inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, including route details and any incidents that may occur during transit.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading of products and efficient route planning.
  • Handle heavy lifting and moving of items as required, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

Basic qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Non CDL holders considered with exceptional experience and references. 16' Box
  • Experience in delivery driving or courier services, particularly with box/reefer trucks.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience, including familiarity with loading/unloading processes.
  • Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
  • Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills to optimize delivery efficiency.
