Gutter Installer

Duties

• Measure and assess building structures to determine optimal gutter placement and materials needed
• Install various types of gutters, downspouts, brackets, and related components following blueprints and schematics
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure gutter systems on different building types
• Inspect completed installations for proper alignment, secure fastening, and effective water flow
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades such as roofing, carpentry, or masonry to ensure seamless integration of gutter systems
• Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly
• Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site work, roofing, or related trades with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques
• Familiarity with construction management practices including estimating, inspection, and restoration processes
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, or masonry is a plus but not required
• Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics for fixture installation or framing plans
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills during installation challenges
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights safely, and stand for extended periods
