Duties

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
  • Perform animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the animals and staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to aseptic techniques.
  • Provide basic pet care, including feeding, bathing, and exercising animals.
  • Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any changes to the veterinary team.
  • Handle laboratory tasks such as collecting samples and conducting basic tests.
  • Utilize veterinary terminology effectively when communicating with team members.
  • Support animal husbandry practices to ensure optimal health for all patients.
  • Assist in the administration of medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
  • Engage with pet owners to provide information on care routines and post-treatment instructions.
