Salary: $80K - $110K; based on experience

Requirements of the Regional HR:

  • Must have Regional HR experience or extensive HR background in long-term care/ SNF
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must have HR recruitment experience
  • Must have experience working with long term care facilities
  • Must have strong managerial/supervisory experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be computer savvy

Responsibilities of the Regional HR:

  • Identify short-term and long-term hiring needs
  • Leads nurse recruitment and retention efforts by planning and implementing new and creative initiatives to both attract and retain nurses and other key employees. Directs the interview and selection process for new nursing staff.
  • Partner with leadership to understand organizational goals and develop HR strategies that support them.
  • Oversee union contracts, negotiations and procedures, onboarding new employees, payroll deductions, etc.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including performance issues and disciplinary actions.
  • Pay site visits to check into all the facilities on-site managers
  • Provides leadership in human resource development and management. Provides guidance and counsel to nursing leadership and staff. Maintains confidentiality of employee information to assure employee rights are protected. Provides adequate communication mechanisms within all departments and disciplines.
