Appliance Service Plus is seeking experienced IN HOME APPLIANCE REPAIR TECHNICIANS.  We are an established company authorized for most appliance brands including Bosch, Frigidaire, Samsung, LG, GE, Electrolux. This is a position for employment, not a subcontractor position.

Opportunity for appliance technicians at established service provider for some of the best brands in the industry servicing the San Joaquin valley from Modesto to Tulare and Monterey, Santa Cruz area.

Standard responsibilities:

- In home service and repair of major home appliances.

- Use tablet/smartphone for remote dispatching.

- Drive and maintain assigned service vehicle in a safe and efficient manner along with managing inventory and maintenance of vehicle.

- Provide excellent customer service and meet productivity goals.

- Perform all facets of employment in a safe and efficient manner for yourself, fellow employees, customers and general public.

- Prompt and regular attendance.

- Perform physical requirements of position including: extended periods of driving and sitting, uninstalling, moving and reinstalling appliances, moving, lifting, pulling or carrying a minimum of 75 pounds.

- We provide the vehicle, supplies, specialty tools and additional training.

Requirements:

- Enthusiastic, positive work attitude.

- Knowlegable with ohm/amp meters, read and understand wiring diagrams, have EPA certification for sealed system.

- MINIMUM 1 YEAR IN HOME MAJOR APPLIANCE REPAIR EXPERIENCE including proficiency with sealed system repair.

- Pass drug tests, driving and background checks at time of hire and randomly during employment.

- Currently have and maintain an insurable California drivers license.

- Have good self direction and motivation.

- Ability to work overtime and some Saturdays.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

There will be at least 1 zoom interview along with various tests to determine knowledge, experience and mechanical ability.  We may require an in person interview and a in person interview with a technician to determine field experience (the technician interview may be 4-8 hours long).

We at looking to hire someone for the future of the company and would not want you to make a decision to work for us based on a 30 minute zoom call and we would not do that either.  We are looking to find the best people for our customers and for our company, that is why we go through the interview process stated above.

Compensation: $ $50.00 per hour

As an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.

You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.

Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
