We're looking for an energetic, outgoing Bookkeeper & Client Relations Specialist to become the friendly voice of our company while managing essential billing and financial duties. This role blends the precision of bookkeeping with the rewarding work of ensuring clients feel supported, valued, and heard.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Financial Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including AP/AR, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and send client invoices on schedule; track payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Process payments, deposits, and vendor invoices.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team or external CPA as needed.
  • Maintain organized financial files and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Client Relations & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for billing-related inquiries and updates.
  • Conduct friendly, professional follow-ups on overdue invoices to ensure timely collection.
  • Perform periodic client satisfaction surveys and document feedback.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through proactive communication, responsiveness, and a positive attitude.
  • Assist clients with general questions related to services, billing, and account status.
  • Provide weekly updates to leadership on client sentiment, billing status, and trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, AR specialist, or related accounting role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident, clear, and personable.
  • Extroverted and comfortable interacting with clients regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and CRM tools.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple client accounts.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

Pay: From $68,640.00 per year
