Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving/childcare, with a strong focus on supporting childhood development. This role involves working closely with children to promote their emotional, social, and cognitive growth through structured activities and attentive care.

Schedule- Mondays or Saturday: 4-8, Tuesdays: 4-8, Thursdays: 4-8

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children during activities, playtime, and rest periods
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
  • Provide basic first aid when necessary and handle minor injuries or health concerns promptly
  • Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual needs
  • Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers
  • Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies
  • Foster a caring environment that encourages social interaction and emotional well-being
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily routines
  • Help accompany mother to appointments (doctors or therapy)
  • Maintain a clean and organized childcare area in compliance with health and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
  • Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable
  • Ability to keep up with hyperactive child
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children, parents, and team members
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for nurturing children's growth
  • Relevant educational background in early childhood education or related fields is a plus

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
