Duties

  • Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle tension and pain
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals
  • Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend suitable therapies for ongoing wellness
  • Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical standards
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to occupational health and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care
  • Stay current with industry best practices and expand your skills through ongoing professional development

Skills

  • Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
  • Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies
  • Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities preferred
  • Ability to provide compassionate customer service while maintaining professionalism under pressure
  • Familiarity with occupational health standards and med spa operations is a plus
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning within the field of massage therapy

Pay: $ $60.00 per hour
