Job Overview

Sunberry Paw Paw Beverages Limited is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase and Inventory Clerk to join our procurement team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services needed for manufacturing and operational excellence. Your expertise in procurement management, supplier relations, and maintenance inventory will ensure seamless inventory flow, cost efficiency, and strong vendor partnerships.

Shift: 1st shift

Pay: $ $18.00 depending on experience

Duties

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiation, to secure quality goods at competitive prices.
• Utilize ERP systems to process purchase orders, track inventory levels, and monitor supplier performance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand material requirements and coordinate timely deliveries aligned with production schedules.
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify reliable vendors with competitive pricing and strong supply chain capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors to maximize value while maintaining quality standards.
• Oversee inventory control and vendor management to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, manage supplier relationships, and resolve any issues related to delivery or quality promptly.
• Support sourcing initiatives by analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations across all purchasing activities.

Qualifications and Skill

• Strong familiarity with inventory process and recordkeeping.
• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to forecast material needs accurately.
• Expertise in sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, vendor management, and record keeping.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
• Understanding of inventory management principles, including inventory control and logistics coordination.
• Ability to analyze pricing data, develop cost-saving strategies, and manage procurement budgets effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining procurement documentation and contracts.
