We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. This role involves ensuring the efficient organization and replenishment of inventory within our retail or warehouse environment. The Stocking Associate plays a vital role in maintaining product availability, cleanliness, and overall store or warehouse appearance to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Restock shelves and storage areas with incoming inventory using proper merchandising techniques
  • Load and unload shipments utilizing pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual handling methods
  • Maintain organized stockrooms and ensure products are stored safely and efficiently
  • Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including verifying shipments and preparing items for dispatch
  • Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy
  • Support cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold safety standards and cleanliness of the work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers in locating products or answering questions when needed
  • Perform retail math calculations related to stock levels, pricing, or sales transactions
  • Support packaging, merchandising, and display setup to optimize product presentation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, retail stocking, or similar roles preferred
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and stock organization
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer interactions
  • Experience with produce handling or grocery store operations is advantageous
  • Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting during shifts
  • Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
