As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Patrol in Lexington Park, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols and respond to situations as needed, while providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site protocols.
• Prepare and submit reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
