The ideal person for this role will produce high-quality, precise work using established processes and procedures. The Rewards Specialist is responsible for processing daily digital rewards redemptions via email and Astro submission. They also sort and process physical coupons, vouchers, frequent buyer cards, and consumer return forms from all Distribution Center locations.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
• 4 days in office, 1 day work from home per week

What you'll be doing:

• Efficiently and accurate sort physical forms in preparation for processing or scanning to create digital backup documentation and accurately key specific fields in the Digital File Manager program
• Process invoices for coupons, frequent buyer, consumer returns, and employee feed credits by brand and customer via data entry from physical or digital backup documentation 
• Process Astro submissions, troubleshoot dropped lines, and review batch credits
• Communicate daily with retailers, vendors, and interdepartmentally, primarily via email and occasionally over the phone, to problem solve and support all forms of Rewards processing

Accountabilities and Supporting Activities

• High data entry focus with the ability to understand and execute vendor guidelines, coupon discrepancies and identify fraudulent submissions using supporting documentation
• Strong initiative and self-direction with a commitment to results 
• Manage daily tasks to maximize productivity and ensure optimal organization
• Remain current on product catalog including, but not limited to descriptions, case quantities, discontinued items, and product substitutions using the reference materials provided
• Use of established processes and procedures to aid in decision making

Individual Rewards Specialist responsibilities may fluctuate based on specific, assigned tasks, customer assignments, and business needs. Those specializations include, but are not limited to:

• Astro processing
• Digital processing
• Email sorting and distribution
• Physical mail sorting and scanning
• Physical redemption processing

What we're looking for:

• Demonstrate solid problem-solving and decision-making
• Accountability of own impact to retailers, vendors, and Pet Food Experts
• Excellent communication and organizational skills 
• Work both autonomously and in a collaborative environment
• Professional telephone, email, and interpersonal etiquette
• Strong computer proficiency, Google Suite, and beginner Excel experience
• Strong focus on repeatable, high quality results
