The Parks Senior Living provides short-term and long-term nursing and rehabilitation services to the senior population in the Odessa, Texas community. The Parks is a 14-acre campus offering a continuum of care: ILF, ALF, and SNF.

Our therapy department is in-house and provides therapists/assistants with flexibility and learning opportunities, and we are expanding our team

Speech Therapist Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Speech Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients.
  • Assist as needed with patient screens for Speech Therapy.
  • Communicate progress and any barriers toward SLP goals with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Complete timely Speech therapy documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, facility, and payor requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.
  • Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each speech therapy patient's specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.
  • Maintain productivity standards as expected by Director of Rehab or Administrator.

Schedule: Full-time

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Current Texas licensure as an Speech Therapist is required
  • New grads welcome to apply

Salary: From $45.00 per hour
