The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Project Management Manager to join our 737 Business Operations Change Management, Scheduling and Template Integration team in Renton, WA.
The selected candidate will be performing in a dynamic environment, achieving positive business outcomes through the development and growth of employees and advancement of our culture change efforts while learning new skills, solving challenging problems and growing as a leader.
As an integral member of the 737 Business Operations Change Management and Integrated Scheduling/Template Management teams, the Project Management Manager will provide support to employees, internal and external stakeholders with a focus on production stability, development program support, customer introductions, and seamless change. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling people and organizations to efficiently and effectively achieve program milestones. The Statement of Work includes building and caring for teams and people, change management & integration, scheduling and template management, data analysis, standard Project Management Manager functions and additional duties as assigned.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees that develop projects and program plans at all levels across functional areas and executes all project phases to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and constraints from initiation to post completion.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
3+ years of experience in project management, program management, change management, scheduling operations or supply chain management
Must have demonstrated management or leadership skills (i.e. leading people, kaizens, problem solving teams, projects, current or previous team lead experience)
Able to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
3+ years of experience utilizing strategic decision making to drive business results
3+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership
Experience managing schedules and stakeholders to deliver products and services
