Housekeeping Attendant, Full-Time

Hanover Hill Health Care Center is now interviewing for a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. This department is essential in creating and maintaining a comfortable, safe and clean environment throughout our upscale, 124 bed long-term care and skilled nursing facility located on a beautiful campus in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Job Requirements:
- Hours include M-F / Every other weekend / 7:30am-4pm
- Must possess and maintain a customer service oriented attitude with personnel, residents, family members, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism
- Must be flexible in receiving work duties during work hours
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day housekeeping duties and functions as needed
- Assure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical
- Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas
- Assure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary, safe, comfortable and attractive manner
- Assure that established infection control and universal precautions are maintained at all times
- Coordinate isolation procedures with nursing services
- Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established environmental services procedures
