Project Coordinators support Project Managers in planning, organizing, and performing a variety of job specific tasks throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. They support the operations team whose goal is to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to company standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

· Assists Project Managers with day-to-day project oversight, documentation, and coordination.

· Serves as a key point of contact for vendors, suppliers, and internal team members regarding project information and updates.

· Prepares, attends, coordinates, and supports project-related meetings as requested.

· Assists Project Managers with various cost control measures such as those related to materials, expenses, budgets, and invoice procedures.

· Under the direction of the Project Manager, prepares, coordinates, and maintains various types of project documentation

· Key point of contact for administrative procedures relating to travel, lodging, material, equipment, and expenses.

· Maintains confidentiality in matters concerning costs, rates, estimates, contracts, and pricing.

Requirements

· Associates degree with one year of experience in a construction, general contracting, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Ability to travel to and from job sites as needed (occasional travel)

· 21 years or older with the ability to rent a car as a self-insured driver

· Acceptable travel document to board airlines

· Compliance with all safety standards

Preferred

· BA/BS in construction, business management, project management, accounting, engineering, architecture, or a related field with three years of experience in a construction, general contracting, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Prior experience with vendor and subcontractor management.

· Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and best practices

· Prior experience in an office environment that involves managing suppliers, cost accounting, and various administrative duties.

· Effective Coordinators demonstrate a strong customer service orientation, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines

· Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills

· Commitment to quality with attention to detail

· Demonstrated initiative and accountability

· Strong technical and computer aptitude

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

· Mechanical aptitude is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $60,000.00 per year
