Position: Head Cutter

Job Summary

Responsible for setting up and operating cutting machines and measuring products for accurate cuts.

Pay: $19.00

Schedule

  • Sunday - Thursday
  • 4 pm - 12 am

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, load and unload machine.

  • Cut all materials as required.

  • Establish and maintain quality controls on product related materials.

  • Ensures labels for boxes and bags are correct.

  • Responsible for meeting production requirements.

  • Assures maximum material yield.

  • Performs routine housekeeping as required. 1

  • Performs any other tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

  • Routinely performs overtime without extended notice.

  • Assist in related department activities and perform related duties, as required.

Qualifications

  • Ability to set up cutting machine.

  • Ability to accurately cut materials in a timely manner.

  • Ability to lead and unload machine.

  • Ability to read and use measurement tools (tape measure).

  • Excellent math skills.

  • Ability to work productively with minimum supervision.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • Ability to work in hot/cold temperatures and fumes.

  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs. on a routine basis.

Physical Demands

  • Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.

  • Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
