Job Overview

We're looking for an organized, customer-focused Delivery Dispatcher to join our Sacramento team. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant delivery operations — supporting drivers, managing customer communications, and maintaining operational flow.

The ideal candidate is quick-thinking, calm under pressure, and passionate about creating an excellent experience for both customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Operations

  • Manage and process customer orders using POS and routing software (Weedmaps, etc.)
  • Monitor delivery routes and driver activity to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
  • Provide real-time support and problem-solving for drivers in the field
  • Log and communicate operational issues or delays promptly
  • Assist with packaging and preparing delivery orders accurately and efficiently

Customer Service

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer phone calls, texts, and online inquiries
  • Provide friendly, professional assistance while guiding customers through the order process
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and escalate issues to management when needed
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, drivers, and other internal departments

Administrative Support

  • Track and report delivery metrics and issues to the Delivery & Dispatch Manager
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and state regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, communications, and inventory flow
  • Support management in implementing new dispatch processes and operational improvements

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, retail, or customer service preferred
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort using dispatch or POS software
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must pass a state background check and meet all cannabis compliance requirements
