Trident Capital Group is a private real estate company focused on the acquisition and development of industrial properties across the Eastern US.  We seek a motivated Real Estate Analyst to support our acquisitions and development team in Columbus.  The role evaluates potential acquisitions, land for development, and our existing portfolio while conducting financial modeling, market research, and various due diligence functions.  There is tremendous room for merit-based growth for the right individual looking to further develop industry skills and related experience long term within an expanding platform.  This position will report directly to the Director of Acquisitions and Director of Development and Construction, and will work closely with the founding partners.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Build and maintain detailed financial models using Excel and Argus for acquisitions, developments, and dispositions, including pro forma cash flows, IRR, equity waterfalls, and return forecasts

·      Perform market research across existing portfolio markets as well as target acquisition and development markets

·      Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal committees and external partners, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendations

·      Support due diligence processes and coordination

·      Collaborate with asset management, leasing, and development teams on portfolio performance and value-enhancement strategies

Required Qualifications:

·      Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field

· years of commercial real estate experience, with specific focus on industrial/warehouse properties

·      Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus 

·      Strong understanding of real estate financial concepts, including discounted cash flows, leverage scenarios, and partnership structures

·      Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

·      Ability to work in fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
