About the Mount Sinai Physiolab. The Mount Sinai Physiolab provides individual health and wellness recommendations through data-driven, evidence-based fitness, metabolic, nutrition, and body composition assessments.

With our state-of-the-art equipment, such as the BodPod, Metabolic Cart, and Metabolic Chamber, as well as our uniquely designed protocols, we can evaluate your innate physiology and metabolic function, and provide a comprehensive report, customized to help you better understand your metabolic needs. Paired with personalized programming and hands-on counseling, education and follow-ups, the Mount Sinai Physiolab offers a strategic approach to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.

About the Human Metabolism and Physiology Lab. The Human Metabolism and Physiology Lab at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is one of the most advanced applied metabolism centers in the country. Our mission is to characterize individual variability in innate physiology and metabolic function in order to further our understanding of the pathophysiology of obesity and metabolic disease. Focusing on personalization, we offer gold-standard, precision measures rather than more common approaches that are generalized and imprecise. We are committed to serving individuals of different health statuses across the lifespan by translating scientific findings into actionable and sustainable health recommendations. Understanding the determinants of an individual's metabolic physiology, we believe, is critical to advancing scientific research and improving clinical care.
