Infosys is seeking a Network Infrastructure Consultant. This position is responsible for the strategic operation, maintenance, optimization, and security of an organization's enterprise networking environment. This includes managing routing, switching, wireless, and fabric services to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing connectivity across the enterprise. The consultant will lead proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives while delivering superior customer experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
  • The candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
  • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time
  • Expertise in Network and Hosting project deliveries
  • Conduct feasibility studies and requirements gathering to ensure project alignment with business needs.
  • Regularly communicate project status updates to key stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams, and business users.
  • Manage expectations, address concerns, and resolve conflicts proactively.
  • Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with data center operations and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
  • Ensure network and hosting projects adhere to relevant industry standards, compliance regulations, and security protocols.
  • Monitor for potential security vulnerabilities and implement necessary mitigation strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 operations
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
