Job Summary

This role manages a hands-on team specializing in aircraft restoration, inspection, and performance upgrades under FAA Part 145 standards. The Repair Station Manager ensures every project — from classic biplanes to modern light aircraft — meets the highest benchmarks for safety, quality, and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate aircraft maintenance, repair, and restoration operations
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and safety across all maintenance activities
  • Oversee technical documentation, inspection accuracy, and tool calibration
  • Lead and develop a skilled team of A&P technicians
  • Interface with FAA officials and manage audits
  • Champion quality, precision, and on-time project delivery
Minimum Requirements
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • At least 3 years of management experience in a Part 145 environment
  • In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance procedures
Ideal Qualifications
  • Degree in aviation or aeronautical engineering
  • Strong background in vintage aircraft restoration or specialty maintenance
  • Excellent leadership, quality control, and project management skills
