Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Range Officer/Outside Attendant to oversee safety and operations at our outdoor shooting range. This role involves ensuring a secure environment for all members and visitors, following all safety protocol , and ensuring all safety protocol is followed. The ideal candidate will have experience in guest services, conflict management, with a passion for outdoor recreation and safety. This is a great job for those with former military experience. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work in a dynamic outdoor setting, supporting recreational activities while maintaining safety protocols. Some general maintenance on range and bays required and attending to shotgun fields, cleaning bathrooms and making sure shotgun fields are ready to be used. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Work week varies with some mornings and most afternoons/late afternoon. Weekends a must.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enforce safety rules and regulations at the shooting range to ensure a secure environment for all guests
  • Assist visitors with range procedures, equipment usage, and safety instructions
  • Address conflicts or disputes among guests professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the range area, including equipment and safety gear
  • Provide support during emergency situations, including first aid or evacuation procedures if necessary
  • Promote a positive experience for all visitors through excellent customer service and hospitality

Qualifications

  • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly
