Now, we're looking for an
Annual Giving Coordinator
to help us expand our impact. This is more than a fundraising position — it's an opportunity to tell powerful stories, build lasting relationships, and drive real change in the lives of people with disabilities.

What You'll Do:

As a key member of Achieva's Development team, you'll lead and support all annual fundraising initiatives that fuel our mission. You'll bring energy, creativity, and strategy to every aspect of giving — from developing annual campaigns to managing signature events and cultivating donor relationships.

Your work will include:

• Strategic Fundraising:
  Developing and implementing Achieva's annual fundraising plan, setting measurable goals, and driving growth in donor engagement.
• Donor Engagement:
  Creating compelling messages, coordinating direct mail appeals, and building authentic relationships with donors and sponsors.
• Event Leadership:
  Leading signature fundraising events such as the
  Achieva Promenade, Achieva Golf Classic, Achieva N'at,
  and the
  Arc Erie County Walk.
  You'll oversee logistics, volunteers, and follow-up to ensure every event strengthens our community connections.
• Collaboration & Reporting:
  Working closely with the VP of Advancement and the Director of Development Operations to monitor progress, track results, and continuously improve Achieva's fundraising efforts.

Who You Are:

You're a motivated, mission-driven professional with a passion for people and storytelling. You thrive in a collaborative environment but are confident managing projects independently. You have an eye for detail, a heart for community, and the creativity to bring fundraising campaigns to life.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Fundraising, or a related field (CFRE a plus)
• Minimum of three years of experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit advancement
• Proven success in managing annual fund programs and fundraising events
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inspire diverse audiences
• Experience with project management tools like Trello or Asana
• Ability to balance multiple priorities with grace, enthusiasm, and professionalism
