About the Role

TDI is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to support a major public-sector organization. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in enterprise infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, and modernization initiatives. The selected candidate will begin on a 6-month contract with the potential to apply for a full-time role upon contract completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support upgrades of enterprise infrastructure systems, including Windows System Center.
  • Provide ITIL-based support for incidents, service requests, and operational needs.
  • Monitor, operate, and maintain Microsoft Windows systems, network infrastructure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Serve as an infrastructure subject-matter expert on application and cloud upgrade projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and work independently as required.
  • Deliver high-quality documentation, troubleshooting insights, and technical recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years working with Microsoft Windows in an enterprise environment
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft System Center products
  • 5+ years working with Microsoft 365 administration and operations
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Must currently reside in Minnesota
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work onsite approximately 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting cloud upgrade or migration projects (Azure preferred)
  • Familiarity with automation, scripting, and configuration management
  • Understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals
  • Prior experience working with public-sector or government organizations is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $ $70.00 per hour
