If you aren't certified - that's not a problem.  We'll train you  The Ridge Foothill will also pay for your CNA Class and Certification, if you are interested.  We also provide other opportunities for you to self-promote up our Career Ladder at your own pace

Responsibilities of a Caregiver / Care Partner:

  • Provide resident centered personal care including bathroom assistance, washing, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, and social support
  • Assist residents in transferring, repositioning and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment
  • Deliver a positive dining experience and assist residents with meals, snacks and supplements
  • Document resident care and behavior

Qualifications of a Caregiver / Care Partner:  

  • You are not required to be a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) - we will train the right candidates
  • Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills
  • Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment are keys to success
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
