The Senior Performance Media Strategist will play a critical role in leading and evolving our paid social practice while also supporting paid search and broader digital media campaigns. This role focuses on driving growth across platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and additional vendor platforms.
We are seeking an experienced strategist who can pair deep paid social expertise with strong analytical skills to develop innovative media strategies, analyze performance data, and deliver optimizations that exceed client objectives. The Senior Strategist will work independently to build comprehensive campaign strategies, forecasts, and recommendations, while ensuring all plans align with the broader media vision developed in collaboration with the Integrated Planning and Activation Strategy teams. In addition, this individual will act as a mentor and thought leader within the team, helping to train and elevate junior strategists and strengthen our paid social capabilities across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Strategic Campaign Management
- Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels, with secondary support for paid search initiatives.
- Develop advanced audience targeting, segmentation, and creative testing strategies to maximize impact in social environments.
- Leverage platform data and cross-channel insights to proactively recommend optimizations that go beyond the initial campaign scope.
- Conduct competitive analysis, social trend forecasting, and platform research to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Implement and refine A/B and multivariate testing for ad creatives, audience mixes, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
- Continuously monitor and adjust campaigns to improve performance against key KPIs (CTR, ROAS, CPA, CVR, engagement, etc.).
- Advanced Performance Analysis & Optimization:
- Analyze campaign performance, budget pacing, and audience insights, using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and other reporting tools.
- Adjust bids, budgets, and targeting to maximize efficiency.
- Troubleshoot conversion tracking discrepancies and ensure accurate measurement.
- Stay ahead of platform updates and industry trends to ensure best-in-class execution.
- Regularly audit accounts to identify efficiency opportunities and strategic growth areas.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Integration
- Work closely with Integrated Planning, Activation Strategy, Analytics, and Account Management teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide data-backed recommendations that integrate into broader media strategies.
- Develop client-facing presentations and reports, clearly communicating insights and optimizations.
- Mentorship & Thought Leadership:
- Serve as a resource and mentor for junior team members, guiding them on best practices.
- Lead training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team and agency.
- Produce one piece of thought leadership per quarter for internal and external marketing
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies, sharing insights with internal teams and clients.
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to new team members, associates, and interns, fostering their development and integration into the team.

- 3–6 years of experience in performance marketing, with a strong focus on paid social strategy and execution; working knowledge of paid search is also expected.
- Advanced expertise in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other emerging social platforms; solid proficiency in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale paid social budgets and multi-platform campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Google Tag Manager, social listening tools, SEMRush, Google Marketing Platform).
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and native platform reporting to optimize social performance.
- Ability to translate complex social campaign data into clear, actionable insights and client-ready narratives.
- Proven experience presenting strategy, performance, and recommendations directly to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Meta Blueprint certification preferred; Google Ads certification a plus.
