Functional Phyzio PT is a cash-based, performance-driven clinic in Durham, NC.

We specialize in helping active adults, runners, and lifters move better, train smarter, and return to what they love without pain. Every session is 1-on-1 for 60 minutes, giving you the autonomy to provide root-cause care and create lasting results.

Please note. This role will start as a part-time with transition to full time as caseload grows.

Position Overview

We're looking for an Orthopedic Physical Therapist who is confident in their clinical reasoning, passionate about functional movement, and motivated by growth, both clinically, personally & professionally.

You'll thrive here if you:

· Love analyzing movement, from squats to running gait, and creating individualized, movement-based home programs.

· Have a growth mindset: confident in your skills, but humble enough to keep learning.

Responsibilities

· Perform comprehensive orthopedic and movement-based evaluations.

· Develop and explain individualized plans of care so the client understands the rationale for your recommendations

· Deliver hands-on treatment and exercise programming in one-on-one sessions.

· Educate clients on the why behind your clinical decisions.

· Upload personalized home-exercise programs within 24 hours of each visit.

· Lead community injury screens and workshops.

· Participate in team meetings and 1:1 mentorship sessions.

· Respond to client questions and follow up with those who fall off schedule.

· Schedule clients for continued care and manage communications as needed.

Ideal Candidate

· Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and active NC license (or eligibility).

· Strong background in orthopedics and functional fitness.

· Comfortable with strength training, running analysis, and lifting mechanics.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Coachable, growth-oriented, and self-driven.

· Thrives in a collaborative, autonomous clinical environment.
