Job Summary

We are a starter company looking for seasoned HVAC technicians who want to partner with a licensed contractor. We are attempting to hire technician who is willing to work for him/herself. By applying to this job you will be working under a licensed HVAC Contractor License #: TACLA C (Class A Environmental & Refrigeration). We understand their are technicians that desire to work for themselves but do not want to own or operate a business. By partnering with M.E Bro's Service you will be able to make as much a general contractor and work for yourself. We will help with managing your schedule and getting service contracts for the slower months. Pay/Percentage Split & Benefits with the company will be discusssed during interview process.

  • Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals.
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as equipment repair, welding, and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
  • Conduct plumbing and ammonia refrigeration work as needed for system upgrades or repairs.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues related to HVAC/R systems and execute appropriate repairs or replacements.
  • Utilize field service techniques to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities and system conditions.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a service technician within the HVAC industry or related construction fields.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance repair is essential.
  • Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance practices.
  • Mechanical knowledge of equipment repair including boilers and ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • Experience with welding, boiler operation, and mechanical troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Prior field service experience involving air conditioning systems or HVAC/R equipment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other maintenance equipment effectively.
