Intern - Product Design

As a Product Design Intern, you will have the exciting opportunity to work closely with our dynamic Product Design Team to contribute to the development of dynamic products that consumers love

What you will do:

• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and contribute to the creation of innovative toy concepts that align with market trends and consumer preferences.
• Utilize your artistic skills to create sketches and digital renderings of toy concepts, ensuring they are visually appealing and meet the design specifications.
• Gain hands-on experience in creating 3D models of toy designs using industry-standard software, ensuring accuracy and feasibility for mass production.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with other departments, including Brand, Packaging, Scheduling, Product Development to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the product development process.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of detailed Product Design Specifications for manufacturing, ensuring clear communication of design intent and requirements to the production team.
• Participate in the review process of physical samples and sculpts, providing feedback on design elements, functionality, and overall quality.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to contribute valuable insights to the design team.

What we are looking for:

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to reside in the location of the position they applied for if selected.
• Must successfully pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
• Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Z-Brush, Blender, or similar is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
