We are a Specialty Retail Store with an eclectic mix of women's and men's comfort shoes, women's clothing, accessories, jewelry and leather goods hiring for a seasoned P/T permanent SALES ASSOCIATE position 20 to 30 hrs a week. We are locally owned and have been in business for over 20 years. We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual who enjoys working with people in a retail setting, and gets satisfaction from connecting with customers. "Customer Service" is more than a term, it describes how we take care of our customers.

Some responsibilities are:

  • Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
  • Achieving established goals.
  • Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
  • Increasing in store sales.
  • Superior product knowledge.
  • Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
  • Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
  • Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
  • Requirements:
  • 5+ years in fashion retail sales experience in women's shoes, accessories, and apparel.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
