Position Overview

Are you a detail-oriented roofing professional who enjoys turning blueprints into winning bids? We're looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team and help us deliver top-quality roofing projects with accuracy, integrity, and efficiency.

What You'll Do
  • Review and navigate digital construction plans to identify roof-related pages and details.
  • Import roof drawings into On-Screen Takeoff and utilize Excel estimating tools to generate accurate estimates.
  • Build and maintain organized digital job files for all estimating documents.
  • Prepare and send detailed proposals to clients.
  • Track bids, follow up with customers, and update all information in our CRM system.
  • Capture and organize contracts once bids are awarded.
  • Participate in pre-construction handoff meetings to ensure a smooth project transition.
  • Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, builders, and suppliers.
  • Support overall sales goals and contribute to the company's long-term success.
  • Uphold company policies, values, and safety standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of roofing estimating experience (commercial experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A critical thinker who takes initiative and seeks solutions.
  • Proficiency in estimating software (Edge or On-Screen Takeoff preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.
Working Conditions
  • Office and field environments.
  • Regular business hours with additional time during peak periods.
  • Some local travel; occasional overnight travel may occur.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and active construction sites.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, or lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
