Job description:
We are a play-based, multidisciplinary ABA provider committed to compassionate care and functional communication training. We do not practice "compliance-only" ABA our approach is neurodiversity-affirming, individualized, and rooted in positive, relationship-centered support.
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate ABA Supervisor to join our team. This leadership position plays a key role in overseeing client programs, mentoring staff, and supporting the clinical direction under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The supervisor is to assist the BCBA and clinical team to instruct clients to implement intensive behavior intervention programs for identified clients; collate data, monitor and support direct staff and the clients ensuring skill acquisition programs that are individually tailored to each client making progress towards goals and objectives, attend team meetings; assist staff and clients with completing programs for proper physical care and hygienic needs; perform related applied behavior programs and learning opportunities facilitating goals and objectives, and other report and assessment duties as assigned.
Applied Behavior Analysis has knowledge of methodologies found to benefit some children including, but not limited to, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), and Crisis Prevention Institute Training (CPI). Incumbents may be required to drive a personal vehicle to other locations including the clinic, community, and schools and provide one- to-one intensive behavioral intervention services. Other related duties may be assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with BCBAs to develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention programs across various settings including clinic, community, and school.
- Will need to work directly with clients until competencies are mastered to be assigned given supervisory duties.
- Follow behavioral treatment plan as approved by BCBA and assist in the preparation of plans as needed based on each client's physical and/or educational needs
- Assist in identifying clients needing remedial instruction in movement skills
- Supervise and support behavior technicians and direct staff to ensure high-quality, consistent program delivery.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and training, with a focus on understanding neurological factors that influence behavior and the use of antecedent control strategies.
- Collect and oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation to track progress toward individualized goals
- Maintain and organize program notes, and implement behavioral modifications
- Prepare routine clerical tasks related to record-keeping and instructional material preparation
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, ensuring cohesive, whole-child approaches across disciplines.
- Conduct and revise reports as scheduled by the BCBA
- Conduct staff observations and performance reviews; provide feedback, modeling, and support to promote clinical growth.
- Conduct care-giver training meetings as directed by the BCBA
- Respect and protect the confidential nature of client records
- Support clients with daily living skills, hygienic needs, and other adaptive functioning goals when necessary.
- Clean and maintain all session equipment
- Report any incidents of injury and complete an incident report within 24 hours of incident.
Education and Experience
- Tracked supervision hours by a BCBA under the BACB guidelines for submission to become a BCBA is offered.
- Must hold a Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree in progress within a related field of work (BACB approved programing progress)
- Required BCAT, ABAT, RBT or equivalent certification.
- Has held a direct position in the field of ABA for a minimum of 6 months.
