Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a lively environment, with experience in dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong multitasking abilities, excellent time management, and proficiency with POS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience.
  • Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours, ensuring timely service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
  • Restock supplies as needed.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when necessary, including catering or banquet events.
  • Uphold high standards of food safety, food handling, and sanitation throughout all duties.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably in dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments.
  • Familiarity with POS systems.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry schedule.
  • Previous experience in serving alcohol is mandatory; training will be provided as necessary.
