What You'll Do

  • Lead by example every shift, being highly visible on the floor and setting the tone for genuine hospitality.
  • Build, coach, and motivate a team that's passionate about people, food, and consistency.
  • Create memorable guest experiences that translate into loyal regulars and great reviews.
  • Partner with bar and kitchen leadership to ensure service, food, and drink are executed at the highest level.
  • Manage key metrics: labor %, food cost %, guest feedback, and sales goals — ensuring the numbers support the guest experience, not the other way around.
  • Use reporting and systems to identify opportunities, track progress, and keep the team accountable.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with regulars and act as a true ambassador for AhbA in the local community.
  • Celebrate wins, address challenges head-on, and constantly raise the bar for both hospitality and results.

  • Proven success leading a restaurant team (General Manager or strong AGM ready to step up).
  • A hospitality-first mindset — you light up around people and make others feel valued.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills: empathetic, approachable, and consistent.
  • Experience balancing culture with accountability, and people with performance.
  • Comfort with financial oversight: scheduling to labor goals, reviewing weekly P&Ls, tracking costs.

  • Calm, steady presence in high-volume, fast-paced service.
