Work location # Camden, NJ (Hybrid working model on Monday / Tuesday and Thursday)
12 Months Contract
Work Environment: Hybrid work environment (with 2 possible remote days per week)

Must be open to providing off-hours production support
As a senior software engineer you will be part of a cutting-edge development team and creating solutions for our customers. While this position is primarily a web and mobile, frontend role, you will be working with our backend developers, business analysts, designers, dev-ops engineers, and business partners to uncover and implement the best solutions .
Role Responsibilities
· Participate in product development including architecting/designing, developing solutions while providing estimates, performing technical reviews, providing feedback to technical and business leadership, and providing technical leadership to both onsite and offsite teams
· Coordinate with backend developers to implement web services and integrations
· Participate in and support the entire SDLC process, including project deployments and production releases
· Maintain current knowledge of IT development methodology, design principles, and technical standards
· Lead and mentor developers in accordance with department coding standards, conventions, and practices
· Communicate with project manager on a frequent basis; identify tasks and issues that may have an impact on service level agreements or schedules; provide realistic task deliverable estimates
· Create project-related documentation and presentations using tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Must be open to providing off-hours production support
Technical Skills and Qualifications
·
15+ Years of software development experience
·
10+ Years React & React Native experience
· Proficient use of Typescript/JavaScript as programming language
· Experience with HTML5 & CSS3
· Proficient with mobile-responsive coding practices and mobile-first code
· Familiarity with Node, CocoaPods, and Docker
· Ability to execute RESTful API Integration
· Experience understanding and developing within WCAG Accessibility guidelines a plus
· Experience with JIRA and GitHub
· Awareness of the best UI practices and processes
· Familiarity with Google Firebase a plus
· Familiarity with Certificates and profiles for iOS development a plus
Non-Technical Skills
· Self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative to find solutions for business requirements
· Ability to lead other developers
· Can-do attitude and desire to help teammates
· High level of organizational, written, and oral communication skills with both technical and non-technical peers; capable of managing business and technical team expectations
· Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate analytical findings to a non-technical audience in clear and concise language
· Ability to balance project development and support activities using a self-directed, disciplined approach with a commitment to excellence in quality, problem-solving, and communication
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
