Parts Counter Salesperson

Bobcat of North Texas in Decatur is looking for individuals interested in a performance-based path to increased responsibility to join the Parts Team as a Parts Counter Salesperson in our growing family of construction equipment dealerships in North Texas.

If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and/or background in parts sales or even just an interest in taking care of customers in a dealership environment, then we would like the opportunity to talk with you.

Experience in automotive, light or heavy construction equipment, or agricultural equipment helpful. Stable work history required. Bilingual in Spanish speaking also helpful.

Compensation

• Starting at $18.00 per hour
• Quarterly Bonus based on performance
• Total Compensation will be determined by experience

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding what they need and want
• Maintain a clean in-store display and merchandise sales area
• Maintain excellent customer relations at all times
• Operate within all parts policies and procedures of the company

Qualifications

• Personable, problem solver able to adapt to all elements including – customers, suppliers, department employees, management, and peers
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Knowledge of warehouse storage systems and storage layout principles
• Previous experience in a parts or inventory setting preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction and office equipment
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, stoop, and crouch
• Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noises
