Job Description
As a Security Officer - Office Tower Patrol Driver in Stamford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site contacts while delivering strong customer service. Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including interior common areas, exterior grounds, loading areas, and/or parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.Control access at designated entry points by checking identification and/or credentials as required, directing visitors to approved locations, and assisting with visitor sign-in procedures.Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems when assigned, and report suspicious or unusual activity to property management and/or local authorities per post orders.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, fire alarms, and/or unauthorized entry.Perform routine inspections of doors, gates, locks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities through the appropriate channels.Write detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or property conditions, including completion of logs and documentation in accordance with site requirements.Provide assistance with tenant and visitor requests, including directions, general information, and coordination of service calls when appropriate.Coordinate with building operations and/or property management on access requests, after-hours activity, contractor check-ins, and other site-specific procedures.Participate in drills, briefings, and training as directed, and follow all post orders and Allied Universal guidelines while on duty.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
