We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. The Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to deliver fine dining experiences while adhering to food safety and handling regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu plans.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines, including proper handling, cooking, and storage of food items.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills is essential.
  • Familiarity with dietary department protocols is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are required.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new techniques is highly valued.
