The Supply Chain Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving efficiency and performance across all aspects of material flow within our manufacturing operations. From procurement and planning to logistics and inventory management, this role ensures the seamless coordination of raw materials, fabricated components, and finished goods to meet production schedules and project demands.
You'll oversee a dedicated team of buyers, planners, and coordinators, developing and executing strategies that optimize sourcing, reduce lead times, and support lean manufacturing initiatives. Working closely with fabrication shops, production teams, and key suppliers, you'll streamline processes, enhance communication, and ensure that every product is delivered with precision, quality, and value.

Position Summary
Lead the transformation and optimization of supply chain operations through the strategic use of data analytics, lean enterprise practices, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Analyze procurement metrics to enhance end-to-end supply chain performance, including inventory control, full life-cycle planning, forecasting, and supporting modular product and system sales. Champion continuous improvement using AI-driven insights for greater efficiency and resilience.
Role Responsibilities
- Leverage AI tools, data analytics platforms, and IT systems to optimize inventory levels, forecast demand, reduce procurement risks, streamline operations, monitor and control stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and order cycles in real time.
- Develop and execute systems, tools, and processes to drive efficiency.
- Manage supply chain scheduling system to ensure on time delivery to internal and external customers.
- Designs, implements and leads best-in-class supply chain processes incorporating automation, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
- Oversee the technical and professional development of the supply chain team.
- Lead continual improvement, corrective action and customer satisfaction practices.
- Recruit, develop and train a world-class, high-performance supply chain team.
- Provide clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate the supply chain staff to achieve excellence.
- Promote and embody RK's culture of Safety, Performance, Quality, Communication, Development, Teamwork and Trust
- Responsible for tracking and reporting on Supply Chain Metrics, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills and work ethic to enable the creation of a highly capable supply chain operation.
- Proven ability to effectively lead, supervise, hire, develop, and mentor talented supply chain resources
- Experience in off-site manufacturing or modular environments
- Demonstrated success in change management, problem solving, and solution development.
- Action-oriented and innovative in leading the supply chain functions
- Skilled in supply chain processes of modular or off-site manufacturing businesses
- Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvements
- Demonstrates a high level of ethical behavior in exercising judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with employees and customers.
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance
- Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, and problem solving skills
- Experience and technical understanding of data centers, data center modules, and modular processes.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management: Inventory Control, Planning, and Forecasting
- Minimum 2 years experience of managing Buyers and Procurement staff
- Knowledge of general manufacturing operations, planning theories and scheduling principles
- Familiar with continuous improvement methods (e.g. pull systems, process mapping, JIT)
- Able to work with complex BOM structures
- High degree of experience in data mining and report building
- Ability to research, collect and analyze data
- Able to conduct inventory analyses and risk assessments on supply trends and demand factors
- Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced and demanding manufacturing environment
- Well organized, detail oriented with strong follow-up skills
- Hands-on, self-motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
- Strong written, verbal, collaboration and negotiation skills
- Ability to successfully work with cross-functional teams
- Advanced understanding and use of Microsoft Excel required
- VISTA/VIEWPOINT/ERP software use and implementation experience a plus
