Position Summary:

We are a Franklin, TN based healthcare company seeking a Medical Biller to support Revenue Cycle operations.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills, be proficient in data aggregation and utilization, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be a self-motivated individual.

Essential functions:

· Works closely with insurance carriers for reimbursement requirements to ensure payment.

· Reviews outstanding AR accounts and contacts insurance for reimbursement explanation.

· Resolves denials and seeds to understand and prevent future denials.

· Effectively identifies trends that inhibit timely payment and escalates to management and operations to resolve root cause issues.

· Input codes into practice management system for billing.

· Assist team members with additional job functions and responsibilities as needed.

· Completion of special projects as requested.

Skills and Qualifications Required for this position:

• Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyze and make actionable decisions from data
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle organizations and billing systems preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, and demonstrated ability to learn new accounting and billing software systems
